A Survey of Low-power Multimedia Systems from the Prospective of Hardware/Software Codesign

چکیده

A concise survey of recent developments in multimedia communications and applications is first presented. The report then focuses upon the more specific research area of the low-power multimedia portable systems. Two typical low-power multimedia portable systems, Camcorder and Mobile phone hand set, are proposed to act as case studies for codesigning low power multimedia systems. Finally, a summary and suggested future work are presented.
